Dr. Leslee Larson

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Leslee Larson is a proud Wisconsin native, having grown up in Racine. After graduating from the UW Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, Dr. Larson worked in several small animal clinics in southern Wisconsin. Her practice focus is on wellness and prevention of disease, and educating clients on how to keep their pets healthy and comfortable for as long as possible. In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Larson has served in the U.S. Army Reserve and taught science classes at Madison College and Globe University. Everyone here at Cat Care Clinic loves her broad background and how it has all made her an exceptional veterinarian for our beloved cat patients and their people, as well as a fun collaborative member of our CCC team.

There have been many pets who have shared their lives with Dr Larson over the years, and she currently has four cats, two dogs, turtles, fish and a tree frog. She recently lost a beloved cat companion to FIV, and this has renewed her passion for preventative medicine and cat wellness.

When not caring for our CCC cats or her own, Dr. Larson enjoys running, gardening, and spending time outdoors. And, she is currently struggling to learn German, knit, and play the viola. Her favorite thing, by far though is spending time with her children and pets.

Dr Larson is grateful for the opportunity to practice medicine and collaborate with the Cat Care Clinic team. She wants you to know that here at CCC, each patient is treated with the compassion and respect that we’d give our own pets. Although Dr Larson once dreamt of being a cat (as many of us here dream of what it would be like to be cared for and loved by our CCC Cat Parents!), she feels blessed to have a career of caring for cats and those who love them.
