| Dr. Kenny Mitchell is a graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. He received his Bachelors of Science degree, majoring in Neurobiology, from the University of Texas at Austin. Since receiving his doctorate degree, he has been working in Gainesville, Florida practicing high quality veterinary medicine as an associate veterinarian. His areas of special interest are preventative medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgeries, and management of chronic conditions. He has been known to be the go-to doctor for felines and is happy to be able to focus his career now on his favorite species!
Shelter work and volunteering have always been important to Dr.Mitchell. He was active in the Austin Pets Alive Animal Shelter and for many years volunteered at the Austin Wildlife Rescue. In his spare time, Dr.Mitchell enjoys writing music, weight lifting, playing music, rock climbing, and spending time with his three cats! |
