Dr. Eric Gosselin

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Eric Gosselin is a proud Madison native, having attended Saint Maria Goretti, Vel Phillips Memorial High School, and even the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. He had a brief get-away to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, for his bachelor’s degree, but thankfully returned to Madison! He’s now passionate about helping us take care of our Madison area cats! General feline care is his passion, from kittenhood to senior years. He loves getting to know his patients, their cat people, and their environment so he can take everything into consideration when making purrsonalized wellness and treatment plans. He also enjoys providing feline dentistry and general surgery services to have well-rounded, comprehensive health plans.

Dr.Eric grew up with two brother cats that his mother acquired in college, Oscar and Norman. He also loved visiting his grandfather’s hobby farm in Lacrosse, where he had endless opportunities to tend to the barn cats! He currently shares his home downtown with his soon-to-be-veterinarian-and-wife and two cats: a sassy middle-aged dilute calico, Mau, and a playful lynx point Siamese, Miel (aka Crust).

In his spare time, Dr.Eric enjoys videogames, fantasy novels, and watching shows with his Fiance. He also enjoys the outdoors, exercising, and getting together with friends and family.

What Dr.Eric loves about Cat Care Clinic?

“I love the caring atmosphere, attention to patients, and quality medicine the staff at Cat Care Clinic provide. I can tell everyone who works here is here because they care strongly for our feline companions and want to provide a high-quality service regarding their veterinary care.”

Dr.Eric’s fun tip for pet owners:

“Cats enjoy novelty and are curious by nature! Introducing different scents, objects, puzzles, and toys in new ways can help cats to stave off boredom and provide enrichment to their lives. In the last year or so My fiancé and I have even started taking one of our cats on walks in a netted stroller and she seems to enjoy all the sights and smells.

Fun fact: When Dr.Eric was in undergrad, he spent a summer interning at the Como Zoo in Saint Paul where he cared for penguins and puffins!
