April is an all-around veterinary assistant and full-fledged catvocat for Cat Care Clinic. In her own words: “I love that CCC provides cats with specialized/specific needs. It ensures each cat is properly examined & diagnosed.” April enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering at a cat and dog shelter, and baking, especially banana bread.

April is from Sun Prairie and recently graduated from UW-Madison with degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies. We’re hoping to guide her into a feline-focused career as she completes her schooling at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine! She grew up with an Irish setter named Molly and a black cat named Weber. April’s mother found Weber abandoned in the attic of a house when she worked for First Weber Reality. Her cat Reuben was her best friend, and April will never forget the special bond they shared. Currently she has two orange and white boys, Caramel and Tommie.

She loves cats and the cats love her. April’s words of wisdom are: “Always carry a lint brush with you! Cat hair always finds a way.
