We are one of the approximately 12 percent of all small animal veterinary
hospitals in the United States and Canada to be accredited by the American
Animal Hospital Association (AAHA)
. Hospitals that are accredited by the
AAHA meet high veterinary care standards. Each hospital voluntarily
completes a detailed evaluation of its services and equipment. Then a
trained practice consultant thoroughly inspects the hospital to make sure it
meets AAHA's high standards in the areas of:

American Board of Veterinary Practitioners Accreditation

The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association to provide board certifications in nine species categories, including Feline. Dr. Ilona Rodan was one of four veterinarians who advocated for and helped ABVP develop the Feline Specialty. She has been certified in the feline specialty since it's first examination in 1995, recertifying in 2005. Dr. Rodan was the first and only feline mentor to date. Dr. Rodan was the first board-certified feline practitioner in the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota.
